Happy Heavenly Birthday To My Sister Jessica Jaime Tadlock

Happy Heavenly Birthday To My Sister Jessica Jaime Tadlock

On February 22, 2024, my sister Jessica Jaime Tadlock would have celebrated her 47th birthday in heaven. Not a day goes by when I don’t think about her and what our lives would have been like if she was still with us. She was the backbone of our family and didn’t take any nonsense from anyone, even if they were family. It’s hard to forget the day I got the call informing me that my sister had been murdered. My husband and I went to the crime scene, and that image is forever etched in my mind. My sister was only 4’9″ and weighed 110 pounds, but she was as tough as steel. She stood up to anyone, no matter how big they were. She was also a mother to an 18-month-old son at the time, who was left motherless at such a young age. Despite any arguments we may have had, my sister meant everything to me. Her birth mother once told me that my sister didn’t love me, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We grew up together and shared a strong bond. It’s heartbreaking to hear such terrible lies coming from someone who claims to know what will get them into heaven.

I don’t want to make this a lengthy post, but I felt compelled to write about Jaime’s birthday. She was a truly special person with a unique and vibrant spirit. I miss her contagious laugh, bright smile, and infectious giggles so much. I have one last video of her singing with her son and my children that I want to share, but I know that if I do, the birth mother will claim it as her own. It’s frustrating because every time I post something with photos, I am accused of taking them myself even though they were given to me by the very person accusing me. But for her heavenly birthday, I will still post the photos that I have chosen to share in honor of her memory.

Even after 25 years, Jaime, you are still deeply missed. It feels like just yesterday that we were together. Until we meet again, I will always love you, my one and only true sister in the world.
