I love being a blogger/product reviewer. I have been blogging since 2012 about product reviews. I’ve had a great experience with so many companies and being able to share my experience about the products. I use my blog for several things from life experiences, family issues, product reviews and so much more so the blog isn’t just for reviews it’s also my personal blogging place as well. It has taken me so many years to get to the point where I am with my blog.
Starting a blog isn’t easy at all, especially with other bloggers who don’t like to help others get started for fear it takes away from their blogs. I met some really good bloggers in Facebook groups who helped me get started and all the steps I needed to take to become a great blogger. But I also met some that weren’t so nice and made comments not to me but others that were rude and thought their blogs were horrible which wasn’t nice at all. Most bloggers start from the bottom and work their way up. I was one that had about 4 people I would ask if I had any questions but any of the others were just selfish about telling anything because they didn’t want to lose the contacts they had with companies that either paid them money or with products.
I remember one blogger who used to get a ton of baby products back in 2013 and I wanted to know how to get baby products as my granddaughter was a baby but this blogger refused her contacts. The blogging world can be fun sometimes or it can be drama either way you do what you need to do. As time went on several bloggers started giving lists of contacts to get products and then I was able to spread my wings and do the product reviews. I was still puzzled on some because there were people that got very large products so I was still puzzled how to get to that point. Since then I dropped out of a lot of the blogging groups because most of them were travel blogs, food blogs, and family blogs and did not fit what I was doing.
During COVID none of the companies would work with the bloggers so things dropped off for me during 2020-2023 nothing I could help it was the companies. So now I’m back up and getting a lot of pitches from a lot of companies. I look forward to getting back to do reviews on awesome products and having a great relationship with these companies. With that being said I will also be blogging about my life, family life, family drama with past family members, grandchildren and so much more. I can’t wait to get things back on track no time like the present. I will be posting some really nice products in the coming months. The nice thing about blogging and getting free products is you get to keep them. I used to have people always wanting all the FREE products I got and now I don’t have to worry about that because everything I get is shared with my children and grandchildren. I can’t tell you how many times others would beg for all the nice things I got to review. I’ve reviewed things from movies, electronics, bikes, ice makers, pressure cookers, cellphones, books, medical devices, OTC medicines, OTC muscle relief, children’s toys and so much more.
