TELETUBBIES – SILLY FUN & LET’S SING & DANCE Limited Edition Toys

Here are some really cute characters from Teletubbies the yellow one is Laa-Laa and the red one is Po. I want to share a little information about the Teletubbies and where they are started from. On 31 March 1997, the first episode of Teletubbies aired on BBC2.  Teletubbies is a British pre-school children’s television series created by Ragdoll Productions’ Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport. The programme is focused on four multi-colored characters known as “Teletubbies”.

The way the Teletubbies got their name for the television screens that are implanted in their abdomens. The Teletubbies are unique and have differently shaped antennas protruding from the heads of each character.  Now as a parent you can’t understand your baby when they are trying to talk, with the Teletubbies they communicate through gibberish and were designed to bear resemblance to young children.

When my nephew was 18-months old his favorite character was Laa-Laa so I wrote to Teletubbies back in 1999 and Laa-Laa sent him a signed card, pillow. The photo of him in the Teletubbies outfit he loved wearing the outfit.  So I have been a Teletubbies lover since then.

Okay let’s talk about how these DVD’s will get your babies, toddlers moving and learning so much. The children develop their physical, emotional, and cogitative skills in a warm, loving and playful environment.  With each of the two sets the Dvd’s feature six all-new episodes from the series that kids and parents can enjoy together. The thing I like about Teletubbies they encourage early social skills such as sharing, taking turns, patience, physical activity and coordination, exploration of music and rhythm, discovery and imaginative play, and color recognition.

With these DVDs, they will bring the experience to life, and to help children act out their favorite scenes and also be able to have their 6″ plush character  to play with or have at naptime, bedtime. Both of the DVDs have approximately 75 minutes of run time. I still enjoy watching the Teletubbies with my grandchildren. This certainly is nice to add to your collection, Christmas gift, birthday gift.

Teletubbies comes on Nickjr in the United States and CBeebies in the United Kingdom.
